Video Store: 9/2/13 I came back to Spearhead because of my wonderful experience here in 2011. I would have been back in 2012 but I was slow in booking a hunt and they were filled. I made sure I did not make that mistake again!!
Spent a few hours in the Video Store Blind and saw 4 antelope doe and 6 bucks. Shot this buck with my trusty Black Widow "way out there" at 9 yards. Watched him drop after a 50 yard all out dash!
If I had a ream of paper I still don't think I could cover all the wonderful things I could say about Spearhead and the folks there. Two minutes after you arrive you feel like family. The hunting is beyond belief and the folks are top shelf.
The guides give 150% to provide a tremendous hunting experience and go out of their way to see you through a successful and rewarding hunt.
There is of course no guaranteed kills as it should be in a fair chase hunt, but the game is there and your patience will very probably be rewarded.
Anyone who leaves without gaining weight has only themselves to blame as the meals will please even the most demanding taste buds.
At Spearhead Ranch there is a family atmosphere providing a warm, cozy and very hospitable feeling.
I could go on and on but you get the point. I can not wait to return. If you have never been to Spearhead your hunting experience is lacking a major adventure. I strongly encourage you to book a hunt. You have my word you would never regret it for a moment and you will most certainly be better for it.
